About this course

Over the last few years I’ve become increasingly fascinated by the gap between dance training and dancers physical preparation.

Dancers are incredible athletes. We spend countless hours developing technique, artistry, musicality and performance, yet many of us are never taught how to properly prepare and support our bodies outside of dance.

That curiosity led me to create Dancers Essentials - the program I wish I’d had throughout my own journey as a dancer.

This collection brings together five foundational training sessions focusing on the qualities every dancer can benefit from:

  1. Core strength

  2. Hip mobility

  3. Back mobility

  4. Stability

  5. Balance

Each class is designed to help you build strength, improve movement quality, increase body awareness and create a more resilient body that supports your dancing in the long run.

Each session is around 20 minutes long.

I chose this intentionally because I wanted these classes to fit into real life. They’re focused, efficient and designed to give you the greatest benefit in a short amount of time making it easier to train consistently, even on busy days or while traveling!

The classes are designed to be flexible. You can complete them individually whenever you want to focus on a specific area or combine multiple sessions to create a longer workout tailored to your needs. Whether you choose one class or all five, you can mix and match to create the training that best supports your body on any given day.

My goal was to create a thoughtful, accessible training program that takes the guesswork out of physical preparation, so you can spend less time wondering how to train and follow a program designed for you🥹

What equipment do I need at home? +

No, you don't need any equipment, just a small area and optionally a yoga-mat, yoga-blocks maybe a pillow! No shoes for sure!
